A certificate is earned, never handed out
Watching is not enough. A certificate exists only because a learner passed a graded assessment, and it can be checked by anyone with its code.
1. Finish every lesson
The assessment opens only when you have completed all the lessons in the course.
2. Sit a timed assessment
Questions are drawn at random from the tutor's question bank, so two learners rarely see the same test.
3. Reach the pass mark
Each course sets its own pass mark. Pass, and your certificate is issued straight away with its own code.
Employers can enter a certificate's code at Verify a certificate and see the name, course, score and date. A certificate shows completion and a passed assessment; it is not an accredited qualification.

Vetted before they teach
Anyone can apply to teach, but not everyone is accepted. Each application is reviewed by our team before a tutor can publish a course.
